A Qualified Certificate for Seals (QCSEAL) is a qualified digital certificate that allows for the electronic sealing (an electronic seal can be seen as the digital version of a signature or traditional company stamp) of all data transaction requests and confirmations, protecting data authenticity and integrity. The electronic seal provides legal evidence that given data originated from the entity identified in the certificate, and allows relevant parties to verify whether the data has remained unchanged since creation.
